外国人視点で日本がどういう国かと思われているかを知るのに役立つ。
「日本人へ通じやすい英語のコツ」などはその一例だろう。

ただし韓国、中国、台湾、香港、仏語圏では占有率が高くないので
日本人としてはこれで全てだとは思わない方が良い。

I think the story was ok. In some parts of this book, Krakauer is stretching the idea of the whole circumstance. I bet the article in Outside magazine is probably better to read and you get the main ideas faster and more powerfully. The story is pretty good to talk about though. Chris may have died, but he tried to live his life in the fullest. It is pretty pointless to go into his thinking much. Every person has their own take on things, but I think Krakauer did an ok job. Overall this book is ok for those days when you are commuting to work.
